Hollow-Fibre Filtration for Compatible Water Purifiers

The FLT-UF-10 is a 10-inch inline ultrafiltration membrane cartridge for compatible domestic water purifiers. Its hollow-fibre membrane provides physical filtration to help reduce fine sediment, rust particles and colloids in municipal tap water.

Practical Replacement Cartridge

• Hollow-fibre membrane: A bundle of fine membrane fibres filters suspended matter from the water.
• Food-grade PP casing: A sealed polypropylene body encloses the membrane.
• Inline format: Designed for installation in a matching purifier filter position, commonly the fourth stage in compatible multi-stage systems.

Check Compatibility Before Ordering

Compare the existing cartridge dimensions, connection ports and purifier requirements before ordering. A nominal 10-inch size alone does not guarantee compatibility. Follow the purifier’s specified filter sequence; a compatible T33 post-carbon cartridge may follow the UF stage for taste polishing.

Installation and Care

Isolate the water supply and depressurise the system before removing the old cartridge. Connect the replacement according to its flow-direction marking and the purifier instructions. Restore the supply, check for leaks and flush according to the equipment instructions before drinking or cooking with the water. Follow the purifier’s prescribed flushing procedure where supported.

Replacement Guidance

The suggested replacement interval is 24–36 months, depending on water quality, usage and maintenance. Replace sooner if flow remains reduced after the prescribed maintenance. This cartridge does not provide reverse-osmosis treatment for dissolved salts, and should not be treated as a guarantee of microbiologically safe water.
