PP (Polypropylene Sediment Filter) 10 Inch
10-inch polypropylene sediment replacement cartridge with a 1-micron filtration rating. Helps reduce sand, rust and suspended particles before the next filtration stages. This PP filter fits compatible 10″ housings; check dimensions before replacement.
First-Stage Sediment Filtration for Your Water System
The PP (polypropylene) sediment filter helps capture sand, rust and other suspended particles before water reaches the next filtration stage. Its 10-inch format makes it a practical replacement for compatible domestic water-filter, reverse-osmosis and ultrafiltration systems.
Key Features
- 1-micron filtration rating for fine sediment removal
- Food-grade polypropylene filter media
- Layered filter structure captures particles as water passes through the filter housing
- Helps reduce sediment reaching downstream cartridges
- Replacement cartridge for compatible 10-inch housings
Compatibility and Installation
Check the cartridge dimensions and housing requirements before fitting. Shut off the water supply and release pressure before opening the housing. Remove the old cartridge, clean the housing and inspect its seal, then fit the new cartridge according to your system instructions. Restore the water supply slowly, flush before use and check for leaks.
When to Replace
Replace every 3–6 months, or sooner if water flow drops or the cartridge becomes heavily loaded with sediment. The replacement interval depends on incoming water quality and water use.
What This Filter Does
This cartridge removes suspended sediment. It does not by itself make water safe to drink and is intended to work as part of a suitable water-treatment system.
